SUP Surf and Downwind Performance Training Video for Board Upgrades

If you’ve recently upgraded to a smaller, higher performance SUP surfboard or you’ve upgraded your race or downwind paddle board to a narrower design, you will likely need to do some work on your balance and stability.  Less volume and width is way more demanding on the balance and nervous systems but you can tame that board and get rewarded with better performance SUP surfing with theses exercises.

If you already own an INDO BOARD with either the 14″ IndoFLO or the 24” Gigante cushion these exercises will work with any INDO BOARD deck and cushion.  Remember when using an INDO BOARD cushion under the deck, you can adjust the instability by adding or removing air from your cushion.  Find the inflation that works best for you and that gives your legs that burn/fatigue and increases muscle firing, endurance and reaction time.  I’ve always  found that if your body can stay stable and quiet on the INDO BOARD, then you will perform better and go faster on your SUP. 🏄🏼‍♀️
