Upon completion of the Indo Board Continuing Education Workshop with Master Trainer Rocky Synder in Santa Cruz, California, I asked Amy if she would like to try some yoga poses on an unstable surface. Enthusiastically she exclaimed, “Yes!, That’s what’s been missing in yoga! But how do you create the instability?” I quickly pulled my SUP board out off the van and proceeded to set it on top of 2 IndoFLO GIGANTE cushions, one under the nose and one placed under the tail. This is the Indo Board Surfing Yoga set up. Many yoga practitioners have recently discovered an SUP board creates a big enough platform to allow a wide variety of yoga movements and postures on water which is naturally unstable. Now, this can be done on dry land and Amy had lots of fun “Getting INDO It!”

Indianapolis Colts running back Donald Brown and professional sprint car racer Lynsey Tilton use the Indo Board Balance Trainer to improve their core strength, balance, agility and kinetic chain stability all while getting an intense full body workout with ropes. Hunter is a surfer, skater, wakeboarder, snowboarder, and all around extreme athlete who had too many skateboarding falls onto his right hip back in the 1970’s Dogtown and Z-boys era. Eric ‘E-Jack” Jackson is one of the best freeride snowboarders in the world. Last year E-Jack injured his foot and had to spend a great deal of time off the mountain rehabilitating his injury. This off-season E-Jack worked tirelessly with his fitness trainer Paul Hiniker at Frogs Fitness in Encinitas, CA to make sure that his entire body is stable and strong enough to avoid future injuries. In this video Paul explains why the Indo Board Balance Trainer has become his favorite piece of equipment when working with professional snowboarders and surfers.
